I live in the beautiful city of Neu-Isenburg and have been working in Frankfurt am Main for seven years as a project coordinator and for twelve years as an instructor at the University of Applied Sciences. Since my early schooldays I have been fascinated with both engineering and education. These rather different interests have accompanied me through my entire career. Consistently, I studied both subjects and dedicated my dissertation to a topic combining both fields (new technical media in education). This is the subject matter I deal with professionally and that influences my research interests.

Currently, I am dealing with both didactical questions, the use of media in the classroom as well as with concept development and evaluation of IT-support and IT-organization (largely process analysis and development).  I personally find creative methods in empirical social sciences and nondirective supervision of group processes (moderation) as well as their further development are key. Altogether, the technical disciplines such as engineering and computer sciences as well as education sciences and social work provide me with a broad and exciting range of professional and research areas.

My exciting work sometimes leaves me only little leisure time. This time, however, I like to spend in the kitchen cooking (and eating ;-)) and in the Frankfurt city forest: For me running is the best way to mentally balance the many hours I sit at my writing desk. And if time allows I visit the world's interesting places. I am especially fascinated by Aotearoa.
